National Football team "Black Stars' Striker
visits
Nana's House
After returning home from the World Cup in Germany,
Striker Asamoah Gyan paid a courtesy call to Nana's
House. Asamoah scored Ghana's first ever goal in
the World Cup ( Czech Republic vs. Ghana). Asamoah
Gyan had a kick about with the children; showing
off some new tricks, after which he was presented
with a citation, BASICS baseball cap and tee-shirt. |

Children visit
Slave Castles in Cape Coast and Elmina
On August 10th, 2006, an
excursion was organized for 45 children to visit
the Slave Castles in Cape Coast in the Central Region
of Ghana.
The trip was sponsored by Landtours, Ghana who donated
the beautiful air conditioned bus and Co- workers
of Springfield Gardens Day Care Center, USA, who
sponsored the food, snacks, and admission cost to
the Castles. |

Vacation Program-International
