BASICS International is welcomed to Drexel's Co-op Program, an integral part of the
student's education at Drexel University. Thanks to the Program the first student Chris Bridges, arrived in Ghana on May 25th, to begin a 6 month Co-op; working with children at B.A.S.I.C.S International's
Nana's House in Chorkor a local fishing community in the City of Accra.
Drexel Co-op: Experience the Difference Drexel offers a variety of educational and employment opportunities to students through study and internship programs in Europe, Asia and Latin America, and the co-operative education ("co-op") program. The only co-op in Pennsylvania and one of three in the United States, Drexel's program is among the nation's oldest, largest and most respected. Students work for more than 1,300 companies in 29 states and 17 international locations.
The co-op program of the College of Nursing and Health Professions is
the first of its kind in Pennsylvania.
Each year, more than 9,500 Drexel students are enrolled in co-op programs and the Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC) effectively manages more than 4,000 student placements into co-operative education work experiences. Read More |
